Today, NOVA BOSSA founder @carolinafurukrona had the honor of meeting Their Excellencies Iván Duque Márquez, President of Colombia, and María Juliana Ruiz Sandoval, First Lady of Colombia, as well as the Honorable Marta Lucía Ramirez, Vice President and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Colombia. The meeting took place at @elcielowashington - our neighbors at @lacosechadc - during their state visit to commemorate 200 years of diplomatic relations between the United States and Colombia. On the occasion, Carolina shared NOVA BOSSA’s mission to preserve cultural heritage and invest in more than 50 Latin American slow design brands, 95% of which are women-owned, and gifted the First Lady and the Vice President emerald bracelets from Colombian jewelry brand @fenomena and President Duque with the very first pair of sunglasses from the exclusive BOCA MMXII X NOVA BOSSA new eyewear line launching on Father’s Day.
