This year I am leading Mindful Minis every Wednesday in September from 4:30-5:30pm at our studio across from the shop. We have 3 seats left for this super sweet series! Liz pulled this card from the Gracious Minds self reflection card set this morning and sent me this beautiful photo. It took me by surprise because I was not having a great morning and reading these words sort of turned my headspace around. Not because it’s just a nice quote - but because I’m so thankful for her. And Karin, who has been with me for 5 years now and manages to be inside my brain most days. And Erin and Heather and Kamiyah and Mercedes - the whole esthetician crew, each of whom brings something beautiful and unique to their work. And to you all. This community of skincare lovers, ingredient purists, indie supporters and folks who don’t really think about skincare or makeup but pop in anyway. Together, you make my soul blossom and I am so grateful to work beside you, whether you’re part of my team or part of the community. You’re all just the best. HYDRATION! It’s all about hydration. As I was mentioning in my stories yesterday, everyone needs hydration for happy, healthy, and vibrant skin. As we move out of summer and into fall, I know a lot of folks are going to want to start on their brightening routine — but, before you start stocking up on acids and exfoliators, you need a superstar hydrating product that supports resilient, stable skin. Heather’s microcurrent facials have been extremely popular lately with folks who are getting ready for big events, looking for skin TLC, and for amping up the results from their at-home microcurrent routine. We’ve recently added a combined hydrodermabrasion + microcurrent facial for anyone looking for a total reset! She has availability Friday, and just this weekend, she is available Saturday! *Holiday facial scheduling note!* Whether it’s an opportunity for pampering or you’re working toward a skin goal, our facials are a wonderful way of taking care.

We have been getting very busy on the weekends and booking out in advance - next weekend and the first weekend of November are both very tight.

Please make your plans now if you have a desire for a facial the week before Thanksgiving - the week before any holiday we get very booked up, and we always want everyone to be able to get the time + practitioner they want.

That said, we have some midweek flexibility coming up! Microcurrent, hydrodermabrasion, gua sha, reiki - we’ve got it all 💗 Thank you for the opportunity to serve you!

Happy Friday 💗 This is a natural light appreciation post. When we were looking for our shop space, we saw a lot of new buildings with zero light and zero character. There were spots I could convince myself we could make good enough… but when we walked into the space that is now Take Care, I knew.

Beautiful windows everywhere - natural light pouring in from all directions. The hallway, and even the big spa room, are filled with the loveliest light and it has such a pleasing sensorial impact that just puts you at ease. I hope you love it as much as I do!

Our treatment rooms have been busy! Our next available appointment is Tuesday afternoon. And, for my weekend warriors, next weekend (4th of July weekend) is quite flexible. If you’re staying in town, it’s the perfect time for couples/friends/etc concurrent facials!
