Introducing our 2024-26 Paul Even Peters PhD scholarship recipient, Adam E. Berkowitz. Adam will enter his second year in the communication and information sciences PhD program at The UA College of Communication and Information Sciences this fall.

His research examines the impact of on human creativity and intellectual property, especially music🎼 ; he has studied automated copyright enforcement systems, algorithmic content recommendation, and music-generating AI systems, and recently he has considered how the spread of AI-generated content will influence cataloging standards and information discovery.

To mark the twenty years since the first IDCC was hosted in Bath in 2005, the conference theme for is Twenty years back, twenty years forward: lessons and directions in digital curation.

The call for submissions is now open for papers, lightning talks and posters:

Papers - are for research or practice work which is suitably advanced, has substantial results, and reflections that would inform the work of the digital curation community.

As the premier organization fostering connections and collaboration between library and information technology communities, we represent the interests of a wide range of member organizations from higher education, publishing, networking and telecommunications, information technology, government agencies, foundations, museums, libraries, and library organizations.
