Disability pride is defined as accepting and honoring each person’s uniqueness, and seeing it as a natural and beautiful part of human diversity. Disability pride is an integral part of an inclusive crusade and, furthermore, a direct challenge to systemic ableism and stigmatizing definitions of disability.

Excellent!!!
The Disability Pride flag, created and revised by Ann Magill, is a powerful symbol of resilience and unity. Here’s what the flag’s colors and stripes represent:
• Charcoal Gray/Black Field: Mourning and rage for victims of ableist violence and abuse
• Diagonal Band: The light, connected band of stripes cut straight through the darkness, symbolizing the light and creativity of the disability community that cuts through the barriers of ableism.
• Red Stripe: Physical disabilities.
• Gold Stripe: Neurodivergence.
• White Stripe: Invisible and undiagnosed disabilities.
• Blue Stripe: Psychiatric disabilities
• Green Stripe: Sensory disabilities
Together, these colors represent that the Disability Community is pan-national, spanning borders between states and nations.
At Vista Supports, we proudly celebrate Disability Pride Month and honor the vibrant diversity within the disability community. 🌈

There are many reasons why enabling technology is essential for people with disabilities. As ambassadors and advocates of community inclusion, we ensure everyone is included in physical and digital spaces.
In today’s hybrid world, access to technology is the key to true inclusion. Without it, how can we guarantee that people with disabilities are fully integrated into our communities?
At Vista Supports, LLC, we are committed to providing the necessary tools and technologies that empower individuals with disabilities. Let’s work together to ensure everyone has the “keys” to access and thrive in our interconnected world.
