- When you lose, ask for a debrief to understand why.
2. Strategize Your Responses:
- Be aggressive but focus on 5-6 key areas (e.g., AE, Construction, IT, Consulting).
- Avoid being branded as a company that responds to all RFPs. ( I don't agree with this one, as a Small Business, :)
3. Diversify Your Portfolio:
- Don’t limit yourself to working with just one agency.
4. Manage Your Capacity:
- Be mindful of the size of projects you take on, ideally no more than you can chew.
5. Honor Your Commitments:
- Maintain your commitments to the government.
6. Provide Value:
- Always strive to deliver value in your contracts.
7. Focus on Solutions:
