Ingredients that you will need:
• Tequila (or alternative spirit of choice – vodka or gin are great options)
• Fresh grapefruit juice or 1 grapefruit
• Fresh lime juice or 1 lime
• Sugar or simple syrup made in advance - microwave ½ cup sugar and ½ cup water in a heatproof glass container on high until it boils which is usually around 3 minutes in my microwave. Carefully remove from microwave and stir until all the sugar is dissolved. Transfer to a container with a lid and refrigerate.
• A small bottle of sparkling water or club soda
• Coarse salt (or mix 1 tbsp coarse salt, 1 tbsp raw sugar, 1 tsp chili powder to spice it up)
• Ice
