Rosemount Center provides dual language early childhood education and family support services to Washington, DC area pregnant women, infants, toddlers and preschool aged children and their families in its center-based and home-based programs.
Today we celebrate fall in all it's glory with our annual Pumpkin Festival.
We explored pumpkins on the playground, carved pumpkins and pretended to go trick or treating down the hallways!

Deal reached to keep Rosemount Center open in Mount Pleasant Rosemount Center, a bilingual preschool and day care, will remain open at its Mount Pleasant location for two more years, the school and its landlord announced.
Rosemount Center and House of Mercy are in ongoing discussions and have reached an agreement in principle to extend the term of the lease at 2000 Rosemount Ave, NW for two years and to provide an option thereafter to Rosemount Center to purchase the property for an agreed price. The parties are currently working on legal documents to formalize their agreement in principle and will issue a more detailed statement if and when documents are finalized and executed. Rosemount Center and House of Mercy greatly appreciate the outpouring of support from all aspects of the community.

Rosemount teachers attended Mayor Bowser's Budget Engagement Forum last week and were able to talk with the Mayor about the importance of early childhood education and the current threat to Rosemount.
We had a great visit today with representatives from Head Start to discuss the types of support that they can offer Rosemount.
