The Smith Foundation

The Smith Foundation

The goal of the Smith Foundation is to increase the self-esteem of underprivileged youth by helping them set and achieve personal goals.

We want every kid to have an opportunity to attend camps that inspire and promote individual growth. Camps expose youth to new activities and experiences they may not be familiar with and teaches children how to communicate and work together to develop essential social skills needed in today’s society.

Despite the high temperatures last Saturday, The Smith Foundation successfully completed a project called Neighbors helping Neighbors. The mission for the day was to repair the homes of low income, especially the elderly and disabled homeowners, in the community. Attached are some photos from the specific project our team worked on with other hardworking volunteers. Overall the community completed 19 projects Saturday. Such a great accomplishment for a day's worth of work!
