🌟 A big shoutout and heartfelt thank you to the 21 amazing members of the First Baptist Church of Wilmington, NC Student Ministry! 🙌 Today, they braved DC's July humidity to volunteer at our Welcome Center, where they reorganized our donations and brought their own toiletry donations. Your dedication and kindness have truly made a difference!

La Casa is a 40-unit Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) building for previously chronically homeless males. The program’s highly vulnerable residents receive comprehensive on-site case management, supportive services, and 24-hour staffing. Services at La Casa are tailored to the unique needs of each participant.

📣 We're sharing some exciting news!! 📣

Jonathan Whitted has been promoted to Vice President for Regional Programs. In this position, Jonathan will oversee the Veterans Division, AimHire, the Welcome Center Division, and The Brooks!

Community Solutions recently did a Q&A with Jonathan to spotlight Black leaders in the Built for Zero movement to solve .

Jonathan joined Friendship place as a Case Manager in the Veterans Division in 2012 and assumed growing responsibilities in the division, serving as Assistant Director and Director since 2022. His work has been recognized by regional and national partners.
