On September 21, 2023, City Bikes filed for Chapter 7 liquidation bankruptcy. Below are the Official Form 309C Notice of Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Case and the Chapter 7 Trustee's notice of the rescheduled Meeting of Creditors. No Proof of Claim deadline has been established, and the trustee has not yet determined whether there will be assets sufficient to solicit proofs of claim from creditors.

Picnic Grove 8, Rock Creek Park on Beach Drive.
Speeches at 12. Basic cycling fuel and drink provided.
More substantive picnic food and appropriate BYO encouraged.
There is limited parking so please cycle to the event if you can.
Eco-friendly for Charlie. He was great at creating the perfect artwork for the occasion. Please give some thought to what he’d love to see from you and bring it along.

BIKE RIDE WITH CHARLIE
1pm – 2pm
Departure from Picnic Grove 8, Rock Creek Park on Beach Drive.
Led by Clark Weigel & Brian Crowe. A one hour ride to the C&O canal (Charlie’s favorite place to ride) with options to stay out longer and get more adventurous.

Dear friends, come one come all to celebrate the genius-lived life of Charlie McCormick on Friday, June 2nd, and Saturday, June 3rd, 2023. See below for details.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charlie McCormick, founder and CEO of City Bikes.

The staff of City Bikes are devastated by the loss, Charlie touched so many lives in a positive way.

In this period of grief, and respect for handling Charlie's legacy, we have temporarily closed the doors, while we are evaluating the next steps.

There will be a memorial celebration for Charlie at Rock Creek Park: 10am to 1pm on the 3rd of June, with a possible bike ride to follow. All are welcome. Details to follow.
