It is with great sadness we share that after 23 years of service,
Joy’s Spa will be closing its doors at the Adams Morgan location on August 8, 2022.
Currently, we are working on a relocation space in the area to accommodate our clients.
Please bare with us as this will take time but once officially completed, we look forward to a grand reopening celebration.
In the mean time, facials, skin care and lash appointments Will be scheduled by calling 202-322-6032.
At a temporary location.
Appointments will be available beginning August 9, 2022 on Tuesday and Wednesdays only.
Joy’s Spa will be initiating a “Help Relocate Joy’s Spa Fund” to help with the cost of re-opening expenses, renovations, equipment, etc.
Information about the Fund will be available soon for those interested in giving back and continuing our 23 years of service.
During this time specials and deals will be given on facials, lashes and brow services.

As a long time member of the Adams Morgan community, we are saddened to hear of the loss of fellow business owner/Admo fam member.
We at Joys Spa are sending our deepest condolences to Amsterdam Falafelshop family.

We learned on Thursday that Adams Morgan lost a member of our family.

Scott Bennett was well-known to anyone who has spent time in the neighborhood over the last 30+ years. He was loved by everyone who knew him. He was quick with a smile and a "How you doing kid?"

He was already a longtime-fixture in the neighborhood when he and his wife Arianne opened the Amsterdam Falafelshop on 18th Street and then began franchising. When he wasn’t serving the best falafel and fries in the city, he could be found all over the neighborhood walking his dog Dax, riding his bike to Nationals baseball games, or eating at one of the neighborhood restaurants. He loved to support his neighbors' businesses.

Scott Bennett was Adams Morgan. He embodied the best of the neighborhood and he will be deeply missed. ❤️
