This thick, beautifully crispy focaccia pizza is probably one of the best things I’ve ever made. I went to a restaurant about a month back that served this and it was so subpar it made me sad, so I decided to try and recreate it myself and I’m so glad I did. This is definitely going to be a go-to dinner from now on! 😋
Rosemary, garlic, and sea salt focaccia. A classic flavor that is almost always what I end up making when I bake focaccia. Salty, savory, fluffy bread that is perfectly crispy fresh out of the oven. Best eaten fresh or reheated in the oven for a few minutes to get that crispy crust.
Proof that even experienced bakers still mess up sometimes 😂 I was making this chocolate chip banana bread for me and some friends and thought it was done but it wasn’t. I even tested it with a toothpick that came out clean, but I guess I needed a longer toothpick! Took it out of the pan and it just immediately started oozing apart. This was a total fail, but the edge pieces that were done tasted great! One of the things I love and hate about baking is that you really never know how things are gonna turn out. You can follow every step perfectly and still mess up, and you can cut some corners and it turn out great! That’s the fun of it, I think. At least for me anyways 😂
So I’m thinking about trying out something new when I come back to baking after the baby’s here. I’ve had a few people ask me if I’d be willing to learn how to make sourdough bread. It’ll probably take me a few months to learn it and perfect it before I start to sell it, but before I spend all that time learning this new skill I wanted to see if this is something a lot of you would be interested in. If it is, I’ll probably start learning soon and should be ready to sell by the new year. Let me know what yall think!
An absolute classic combination, peanut butter chocolate cupcakes! So simple but such a delicious treat! I will be closing orders on July 18th, so if anyone would like to order from me before then please let me know! I’ll be reopening orders in the fall. Baby boy will be here so soon!

One of my favorite cupcakes I’ve ever made and a definite hit at the baby shower, a few of you guessed correctly! These banana pudding cupcakes turned out so good for my first time making this flavor. These cupcakes are available to order (by special request only) with a minimum order of a dozen cupcakes.

Since I haven’t been baking that much lately, I wanted to make a post of all of my favorite things I’ve made over the past two years! One of my favorite breads to make, focaccia! This savory bread is perfectly fluffy and soft, topped with sea salt, garlic, and rosemary(or any toppings of your choice). It’s best fresh out of the oven, since the olive oil it’s baked in gives it an amazing crispy crust, but it’s also delicious at room temp or reheated in the oven. You can grab one of these for yourself at $10 each!
I’ve officially decided to get back into baking. I’m sure most of you already know, but I am currently 27 weeks pregnant, and I could use a little extra income before and after baby boy gets here in August. I’ll probably be taking a little maternity break once here’s here, but until then I’m back! I’ll only be accepting a couple orders a week to ease back into it and not overwhelm myself, so I’ll let you all know when my orders are closed for the week. I’m also now living in Choctaw, but still go back to Washington from time to time and most of my baking supplies are still down there for now, so I will still be baking down there until I’m able to move my supplies to my new place. Baking has always been my passion, and I’ve really missed it these past few months. My menu has changed slightly, a few less flavors and a couple of different items, but overall it’s mostly the same! I can’t wait to get back into baking for you all!

This is a post I’ve been putting off making for a while, but I think it’s finally time to make it. A lot has happened this year that has really taken a toll on me, and unfortunately I’ve lost my passion for baking in the process. It used to be my stress relief, but it became a stressor instead. It’s pretty obvious if you look at my page that I haven’t been baking much, if at all. I think it’s time for me to admit that I need to officially take a long break from iris and honey. I don’t know if or when I’ll start baking again, but I’ll keep you all updated if I do. Thank you all for the support you’ve given me and my business since I started it last year. Hopefully this isn’t goodbye, just see you later 🩷

I tried making some apple cinnamon muffins today! They turned out pretty well for a first try, but they could definitely use a few tweaks to make them perfect! I may end up adding these to my fall menu this year 👀
These s’mores cupcakes from my summer menu seem to be my most popular this year! A delicious chocolate cupcake with marshmallow frosting, topped with a little piece of a Hershey bar and crumbled graham cracker! These will only be on the menu until the end of August, so make sure to try them while you can! 🍫😋
I made an array of cookies for my family Fourth of July party this past Saturday. The flavors are: s’mores, chocolate chip, salted butterscotch pretzel, and a new flavor I’ve been testing, Reese’s! These were fun to make and turned out so pretty! 🍪
