A huge thank you to everyone who made City Mission’s 7th Annual Golf Outing an incredible success! 🏌️‍♀️🎉 Hosted at the beautiful Valley Brook Country Club and presented by Networth Advisors, LLC., the day was filled with fun, competition, and generosity, all in support of the life-changing programs at City Mission.

From the fun golfers, the delicious brunch and dinner, to the cigar and snack cart, we couldn’t have asked for a better day on the course. We couldn't believe the skills we witnessed at the putting contest with two winners at the 68 foot putt!

Special thanks to Southpointe Massage Therapy for providing relaxing chair massages that were a hit with all participants. The auction items and 50/50 raffle added to the fun, and the Ducky Race on the Valley Brook’s scenic stream was a fun highlight.

📣Staff Spotlight: Vic, Childcare Coordinator

Meet Vic, our new Childcare Coordinator at City Mission! With a Master’s in Occupational Therapy and a passion for working with children, Vic brings a wealth of experience to our team. Originally from rural Maine, she embraced our community in March and found a supportive family at City Mission.

Previously, she worked with adults with disabilities, but now finds joy in integrating her faith into her work with children. In her role, Vic creates a nurturing environment for the kids in our Women with Children shelter, allowing their mothers to focus on recovery.

Vic's favorite part of the job is witnessing the growth of the children and herself. She believes that with Jesus at the center of our mission, we’ll continue to see lives transformed. "I try to model calmness and consistency for them," she says. "I teach them to be kind, good friends, and treat others the way they want to be treated."

Welcome, Vic! 🌟
