The last year has been rough so slowly getting back into things. There are changes coming that hopefully will be good? Either way I want to thank everyone who’s still here through the silence, infrequent posts, dropped periods, and everything else that just fell apart over the last year. Howl’s Moving Castle is hands one my couldn’t live without Studio Ghibli must have. Every scene, quote, and magical moment of the film is what made me fall in love with the studio ghibli franchise.

Con prep is underway for us in so many ways. We have surprises in store for you when it comes to Colossalcon 2023 that might surprise even our OGs who have been here since the beginning.

One of my favorite parts of getting ready for a convention of any kind is to check what’s in my kit and see all the fun new things I can bring to a convention to make our shooting experience as magical in every way possible that we can.
We are canon through and through so these are just the basics of what are in our camera bag without anything extra thrown in yet.

What’s one of your favorite places to shoot at colossalcon? Mine has to be the grasslands and trying to make it look like there isn’t a parking lot behind it and all the little hidden alcoves around the resort outside that challenge me as a photographer.

It’s and what better way to kick off this week than with one of the coolest builds I’ve had the pleasure of shooting (let’s face it all of the builds does are cool so picking just one is hard). The setting and mood for this whole shoot was just stunning and completely fit the character and theme.
