Highlights at today’s market include ground cherries, cabbage, colorful wrapped bouquets, heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers, Delmonico steaks, herbal insect repellent (which smells awesome), blueberries, and more. Your friendly neighborhood farmers will be here until 2 today at the Mayor Butler Pavilion in Watertown. See you soon - and don’t forget your bags.

The market is bursting with the season’s best produce. Highlights today include sweet corn, ripe tomatoes, blueberries, garlic, cucumbers, pastured eggs, carrots, green beans, banana bread, wrapped bouquets, ground lamb (pair with eggplant for moussaka!), and pasture raised chicken. Locavoremania is alive and well in Jefferson county NewYork! In fact we at Seaway Coldhardy Berries were thrilled when a friend and fellow locavore Josh Dieterich sent us this beautiful summertime campsite image! We will have extra smoked Ham Steaks at the Watertown Saturday Farmers Market tomorrow. They might just be one of the most versatile cuts we have. Doesn’t matter if you bake, grill or smoke them, they’re perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner! And the leftovers….well, omelets, Cobb salad, scalloped potatoes, mac-n-cheese to name a few!!

🌤️Dreams coming true. Yesterday, the crew finished our very first high tunnel. This morning I headed out to the barn and was stopped in my tracks at God’s beauty. Headed back to the house, got my phone, and captured this moment. I’m overwhelmed with excitement and anticipation for what we can do with this space, and look forward to sharing the journey with all of you! I will have a reel soon of the whole building process but had to share this sooner rather than later. ❤️
