LATI Equine Management Program

After six years LATI has decided to cease the Equine Management option.
We would like to take a moment to thank all of the students who took equine classes. We are thrilled to watch you grow in this amazing industry.
Remember that hard work, passion, and dedication will help get you to where you want to be.

Day five: Starting with a wonderful tour of SDP Buffalo Ranch, we then went to the historical Stockyards in Fort Worth.

Day four: A long day of tours to Fort Worth. McQuay Stables, High Point Performance Horses, Equine Medical Associates, and NRS. Then dinner in Sundance Square.

Day three: back at AQHA World Show for trail, heading, heeling, Hunter hack, and some trade show stops. Then tonight we hit Re*****on Horse Park for some thoroughbred racing.

Day Two: AQHA World Show- tie down roping, equitation over fences, hunt seat, jumping, heading, heeling, western pleasure, reining, ranch riding and finished with cow horse... A very busy day!

Day One: Lazy E, Oklahoma Horseshoeing School and National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum.

The c**ts were outside for the first time yesterday, in the night weather.

Yesterday Farrier Brad Stolsmark came to talk the Equine students through his trimming and shoeing techniques. Thank you Brad!

Courtney Lundin was able to at least get up on Charlie today! He keeps getting more confident everyday. The c**ts are improving daily and the advanced horse for a break from arena time.

Curt B came from Spearfish area today to explain Equine Dentistry to the students. They learned a lot and were able to see quite a bit!

We have been very busy! First rides on c**ts, fundraising, and focusing on class work!

Students are wrapping up halter breaking and starting to saddle their c**ts in the training class.

When a leash is required for your dog to see the vet and you can't find yours. This cowgirl grabbed a horse halter and lead rope.

Now is the time to update your dog's vaccinations!

Call Chamberlain Veterinary Supply to set up your appointment. And we do have dog collars and leashes for sale just in case.

We freeze branded some horses today for breeding class. A lot of students have never been around it, so it has been a good experience for all.
