If only I would remember to take the before picture! This kitchen turned out awesome, the island and sink cabinet are made of a circle sawn pine to match the shelves around the window and the awesome recycled post by the stove. It all tied together perfectly. It's fun being able to take a customers vision and a few old pieces of barnwood beams and make it all come to life!

Awhile back we made a new gavel and sound block for Lt. Governor Larry Rhoden and the SD senate, its quite an entertaining story as to how we came to make this gavel. As you can see by the second picture it is a bit bigger than your average gavel.

It was a fun project and thank you to Larry Rhoden for your "strong hand" in government

Also a shout out to Pries Laser Works for his awesome work on the brass band to finish it off.

Lots of people like safes to keep their valuables in, but if you are the type of person that loves the classic gun cabinet to display your fi****ms we can make any size! This one holds 22 long guns with lockable storage on the bottom.

2023 was a good year, and very busy. Here are some of our projects that we finished up towards the end of the year.

Old tractor pallets, some sanding, a little stain, and lots of lacquer can turn into the perfect man cave table!

Just finished up this steel framed/knotty alder dresser! Iron Ranch Mfg. Did an awesome job building the frame, this thing is solid!

2023 is bringing some changes for Woods Edge, after 30 years Kevin decided its time to retire.

Kevin started The Woods Edge shop in January of 1993, building just about anything imaginable out of wood and staining more than a few feet of trim and millwork.
Now as of January 9, 2023 he signed the papers to sell the business to me, Riley Mohr. I started working for Kevin my senior year of high school in 2011 after job shadowing him for a business class a few years earlier.

Kevin will still be working here for a while (or as long as i can keep him), and we will still continue to do the same type of work:
Custom kitchens, furniture, and millwork finishing.

I am excited to continue and grow this business and provide quality custom woodwork for watertown and the surrounding areas.

Thank you for all the business and support in the past 30 years, and we look forward to what the future holds for the business!
