Today is the day! WinterFest is back tonight in Waukee's Downtown Triangle. The holiday fun begins at 4 p.m. with open houses at downtown businesses. Mayor Clarke and Santa will light the WinterFest tree at 6 p.m. SHARP! Slide Into Waukee Parks: Windfield Park
Don't give up on parks season yet... Waukee is home to 15 City parks! Slide into... Windfield Park, located at 114 Windfield Parkway. The park is equipped with a full basketball court, a backstop for baseball or softball, age-appropriate play areas, an open shelter and more. Jonas and Charlotte are here to tell you all about it.

Slide Into Waukee Parks: Glynn Village Park
Waukee is home to 15 City parks! Slide into... Glynn Village Park. Glynn Village Park features a large playground structure, rubber surfacing, parking, a drinking fountain and seating. The Glynn Village Trail Amenity is a quarter-acre, nature-themed play area located nearby.

Enjoy the final days of the summer at Fox Creek Splash Pad! It will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. (weather permitting) through Monday, Sept. 20. This weekend looks to be sunny and hot - have fun! Monday will also be the final 2021 day for the bubblers at Westown Meadow Park.

Movies in the Park is back tomorrow night with "Black Panther" (PG-13)! Spend an evening in Wakanda (okay, it's just Centennial Park, but you can pretend). Thanks to NCMIC, this event is free. See you there on Friday, Aug. 13 at 8:45 p.m.!

Waukee is home to 15 City parks! Slide into... Centennial Park. The 33-acre park is equipped with two sand volleyball courts, three ball diamonds, a 12-hole disc golf course, three playgrounds, one basketball court, a Gagaball pit, a creek, a covered bridge, one open shelter and one enclosed shelter.

Waukee is home to 15 City parks! Slide into... Fox Creek Park, located at 522 NE Westgate Drive. The 18-acre park features a splash pad, playground, pickleball/tennis courts, a rentable pavilion and more!

Due to rain today and low temps/rain in the forecast for Memorial Day weekend, the Fox Creek Splash Pad season opening is being pushed back to June 1.
