Clothes to You, our monthly free community clothing distribution, is this Saturday (Dec. 2), with doors opening at 9 a.m.

Beginning at 8 a.m., a volunteer will distribute plastic numbers to each adult planning to shop. When the doors open at 9 a.m., the shoppers must present their number for admission.

This will be our last Saturday morning clothing distribution until March as our volunteers take a much-deserved break.

Today is Veterans Day. Let us pray. “Almighty and ever-living God, we give you thanks for all who have served and defended our country and the values of freedom and justice we hold so dear. Help us be mindful of the sacrifices they made and the hardship endured by their families and friends, so that we never take for granted the privileges they have secured for us. Hear us, we pray, through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen” (Prayer Book for the Armed Services, p. 66).
