As itโ€™s Vocations Awareness Week I am taking this opportunity to remind you to please send in your vocations raffle booklets. The purchase of these raffle booklets allows us to support seminarians on their path to priesthood. Your past support of this raffle has allowed us to annually provide four $500 grants. Many of the seminarians who have benefited from these grants are now parish priests in the tradition of Knights of Columbus founder, Blessed Father Michael McGivney.

If you would like to drop them off with me, please feel free to put them in my mailbox at 808 Grove Ave in Waukegan. If you would like me to come by your house to pick them up, please call or text me at (847) 946-2880. If you did not receive your booklets, please call me or reply to this e-mail and I will make sure they are delivered to your home ASAP!

Thank you again for supporting this program to help our seminarians!

Who we are....

Group for members of the Knights of Columbus Council 731 in Waukegan, IL, their family, and friends of the Council. What We Do From the moment of the founding of our order in 1882, charity has been the first principle of the Knights of Columbus. We are men of faith and men of action. Our charitable activities encompass an almost infinite variety of local, national and international projects. From international charitable partnerships with Special Olympics, the Global Wheelchair Mission and Habitat for Humanity to our own Food for Families and Coats for Kids projects and other purely local charities, the opportunity to work together with fellow Knights and their families is virtually endless. We undertake these acts of charity because we see those in need through the eyes of faith. Moreover, in the Knights of Columbus, we approach these acts of charity together. Pope Benedict XVI calls this the โ€œpractice of love...as a community.โ€ If youโ€™d like to be a part of an international organization of more than 1.9 million Catholic men whose principal work involves helping others in need, we'd like to meet you and invite you to join us.
