Last Friday, October 27, 2023, our office, along with multiple emergency response agencies, came together to test and validate response and recovery plans relating to an active assailant in a school setting. It took approximately 9 months of planning to properly test the coordination of such a significant response. We are grateful for having such forward-leaning partners who prioritize preparedness in Waukesha County.
