This Entry Level Position is for an Automotive Detailer that entails preparing collision damaged vehicles for delivery by cleaning inside, outside and light polishing.

Prior experience is helpful, but not required if you are eager to learn and willing to train. Duties also include some facility janitorial tasks.

Advancement is always possible with job training for advancement, and tool purchase program.

Marshall Auto Body in Waukesha, WI is hiring an Entry Level Auto Body Technician/Detailer at our Waukesha, WI location to dismantle, mechanically repair, and reassemble late model collision damaged cars. Detailing vehicles for delivery to customers is a requirement for this position.
Requirements
Ideal applicant will have a good mechanical background (machinery or automotive), have the basic skills and understanding about how things work, and is willing to learn, then this entry level position is for you.

Tool box and tools are provided
Experience is not mandatory, but a general knowledge of vehicles is helpful

Marshall Auto Body office and facility is open with limited public walk-in traffic.

Face coverings are currently required to enter the building.
For your convenience, we replaced the unnecessary trip to the body shop for an “Estimate” with our online photo and claim filing apps www.fixmycrash.com or www.fixmytesla.com.

This path also provides an additional layer of safety by reducing interpersonal contact during this period of required physical distancing.

After submitting the required photos and contact info, we will call you to set up a repair date, secure insurance approvals and order replacement parts. Prior to drop off for repair, we will transmit necessary documents electronically for signature approval. On the day of your appointment, you can leave your car in our front lot, place the keys in our key drop and we will take care of the rest beginning with:

• Gloved personnel disinfecting touch points on the vehicle
• Installing disposable steering wheel covers and seat covers, and disinfecting handles, levers, k***s steering wheel and shifter once again when cars are parked up front for pickup when done.

It is critical that we all do our part to help reduce the transmission of COVID-19. Marshall Auto Body is open with limited physical access for the safety of our staff, customers and vendors. If your car needs to be repaired, you WILL NOT need to bring it TO US for an estimate. Simply go to fixmycrash.com and submit the required photos and contact information, and we will call you to take care of everything else.

We have implemented a touchless intake and delivery process. All required forms and authorizations can be signed digitally. Upon receipt of your vehicle we will disinfect all touch surfaces, and install steering wheel, shifter, and seat covers. Upon completion of repairs, we will dispose of protective coverings used during repairs, and disinfect all touch surfaces once again before delivery to you. Our staff has been briefed on OSHA and CDC guidelines for maintaining essential workplaces amidst Covid-19, and have implemented their cleaning and safety regimens.

Health safety is paramount. We appreciate your patience as we navigate the requirements to protect you, our staff and our vendors during the Coronavirus pandemic.

Today through April 30th, our Hours are 9am to 5pm. We will resume our normal hours 7:30am to 6pm On Friday May 1st.

We are looking for a Driver to help with errands outside the office.

If you have an Excellent Driving Record, are an interesting and energetic individual that has a strong work ethic we would like to hear from you.

A good knowledge of the Milwaukee and Waukesha area is a plus. When not driving or performing errands, tasks within various departments will be assigned for you to help out wherever necessary.

This is a first shift position that requires 5 days a week, Monday to Friday and is based out of our Waukesha shop. The work schedule and the hours can be flexible if needed.

This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to work when their kids are in school or for someone recently retired looking for a part time job to fill a portion of the day.
