Meteorologists are forecasting the first substantial snowfall of the season for Waukesha County.
A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for tonight, with snowfall beginning around 9:00pm. A Winter Storm Warning has also been issued for Tuesday morning through Tuesday night.
🚨Please drive according to road/weather conditions.
🚨Accelerating, stopping, turning – nothing happens as quickly as on dry pavement.
🚨Move over or slow down for emergency vehicles, plows, and tow trucks.

Saturday, October 21st is National Move Over Day, and it's not only a reminder for everyone to slow down or move over for all traffic incident responders, but also a time to remember those we lost in the line of duty.

The WTA Board of Directors and its members are hoping you will do both.

CONSTRUCTION WORK NOTICE
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will begin construction work on US 18 (Summit Ave.) on September 5th.

We had to get a new copier/fax machine. The replacement machine is not compatible with these cartridges. If anyone could use them, they’re free for the taking. Both are new and unopened.

FULL ROAD CLOSURE
Wednesday July 19th, 2023, starting at 9:00am
A full closure of US 18 just east of County G (Elmhurst Rd) will take place for a cattle pass replacement. The roadway will be impassible!
The full road closure will take place for 30 days.
US 18 is closed to through traffic from Lincolnshire Place to Turnberry Oak Drive. Local access and access to business in the work zone will be maintained, except in the area of the cattle pass replacement.

Traffic Alert: Coffee Road from Racine Ave to Swartz Road will be closed starting June 15, 2023 for 5 days to repair the concrete roadway patch. Payne and Dolan will be on-site to repair the base course and patch in anticipation of a permanent resurfacing of that portion of the road later this summer. Traffic may use Swartz Road as a detour route.

🐢She’s right on schedule though she picked a different part of the garden this year. I had to hurriedly take down all of the fencing, she was trying to push her way through it and had her head caught in it🐢
