The Waukesha Civic Theatre and the United For Waukesha Resiliency Center is hosting the 1,000 Words Gallery Night on July 18th, 2024. Attendees will come together as a community to honor and celebrate the resilience of those affected by the Waukesha Parade tragedy.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of several local photographers, they are able to offer free portrait sessions to over 40 individuals who experienced this tragedy. We often hear that a photo is worth 1,000 words, and in this case, these portraits convey stories far beyond words—stories of heartbreak, resilience, hope, and community.

Join us as we hear from local guest experts, survivors, and community members. Enjoy an evening filled with inspiring stories, music, and the warmth of our community. Appetizers will be served, and we look forward to sharing this meaningful experience with you.

I'm spending my last few days in Texas sneaking in all the baby snuggles from my newest grandaughter, Paisley Mae.

Happy Father's Day to all the special dad's out there! I hope your day is as special as you are.

I am thankful for my dad and husband for showing me unconditional love and support, having a strong work ethic and always providing for our family, and being the best dad, step-dad, grandpa, great grandpa father, husband, neighbor and friend I could ever ask for.

Dee Artsy Creations wil be offering her beautifully handcrafted resin creations at the store from 6pm to 9pm.

It's going to be a beautiful evening on Main St so come on out and enjoy this free, family friendly and FUN event!

I believe it's important to stay humble as you grow and learn.

It's official. Im proud to share that I'm now a grammy to two sweet girls. My 2nd grandaughter, Paisley Mae, arrived yesterday and I got to meet her today.

Mom, Dad, and big sister (Tatum) are all doing well.

I'll be staying in Texas thru the weekend to help and will be back in Wisconsin early next week. The shop will be closed Thursday, June 13th, but will reopen Fri June 14th from 10am to 9p (Friday Night Live from 6:30p to 9p) and Saturday 10am to 6pm

I'm in Texas visiting my daughter who is expecting baby #2 any day now. The shop is closed today and will reopen tomorrow Friday June 7th at 10am.

About 4 years ago, I gave into the incessant begging of my oldest kiddo and we adopted our first kitty cat. Since then a second has joined our crew and I’m now a self-proclaimed cat lady. Color me obsessed. 🐈 > 🐶

With my current lease expiring in a few short months, I am looking to find another location in a craft mall or larger store setup with artisans and handmade goods.
