All remaining vegetables and herbs are in the greenhouse. There are some plants on a rack against the north side of the building. All remaining plants are on racks at the front of the store. Everything left is $1.00 per plant, no matter the plant or size of the pot!

This hot weather is going to be hard on the plants in their small plastic pots😪 Help them out by taking them home and planting them in your garden or bigger pots😘 There are three hanging baskets left and a couple of designer pots. The greenhouse is on the north end of the building. All baskets and plants are 50% off!

Tomorrow!! If you want an outdoor griddle, but don't have room for another full size appliance on your patio, Weber has the solution! They now have full-size griddles (36" and 28") that fit the Genesis (2017 and newer) and Spirit (2016 and newer). They are pre-seasoned rust-resistant carbon-steel. You simply exchange your cooking grates for the griddle. Ace Waunakee will be having another Weber grill demonstration this Saturday (5/25/24) from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. There will be breakfast burritos, smash burgers, and jalapeño popper quesadillas😊

Our last shipment of plants for this season arrived on Thursday. Our greenhouse is TENTATIVELY scheduled to open Thursday, May 4th. This is based on possible changes in the supplier's delivery schedule and weather. After the first load of plants are delivered, we need time to sort and price them.

Helpful hint:
If you find White Mold on Bagged Mulch:
Mulch is often stored for a season or two, and the little holes in the plastic bags for air circulation also allow moisture or rain to pe*****te and get inside the bag. Combine moist mulch with the naturally occurring heat that results as some of the mulch inside the bag decomposes, and you've got a perfect environment for white mold to grow. Don't worry; it's not harmful to your plants, although it can be unsightly. You can pick it out by hand or leave it. Usually, the sun will eventually kill it off.

Did you know that Mosquito Bits are effective for fungus gnats in your plants?!

Ace has onion sets this year😊

The Department of Energy issued a ruling in 2007 to require higher efficiency in light bulbs. This became effective in 2012. In May of 2022, a final ruling was issued which will ban the production and sale of most halogen and incandescent light bulbs by the end of July 2023. Please share this with family and friends who may not be aware of this change. We are not ordering any more of the bulbs. What we have left is all that will be available until July 30th.

Now that spring is here, the store hours have changed. They are now:
