Object Homewares
A collection of sustainable new & old goods for a purposeful home & meaningful life.
Like the objects we stock in our shop, our layout is constantly changing. This past weekend we updated our utility section with new hand-built shelving and boy do we love it. Why hand-built? We firmly believe in slowing down, working with our hands, and finding joy & purpose in the process. Let us know what you think of the new look!
If you need a break from your long weekend outdoors, stop in the shop! Open regular hours this weekend for you.
It’s no secret our kids section closely mirrors our Maeve’s toys at home - slow objects that encourage her imagination and learning, while keeping her attention far longer than more common store bought toys. Some fun new things have been added, and we’re also exited to announce we’re expanding our offering to older kids as well with grandparent pen pal kits, fun composition books for journaling & doodling, and more!
A few lovely fall objects new to the shop, and with each new order arrival, our personal wishlists continue to grow. Which is your favorite?
We repeatedly hear of customers who found us on Google while passing through town and we know more reviews & more photos are always helpful. If you've enjoyed our little shop, would you help us out by adding a review? We'd be so grateful!
Object Homewares would love your feedback Post a review to our profile on Google
Watercolor workbooks are back in stock and are better than ever with additional illustrations added to each theme! Birds, Animals, Cooking, Flowers, and our instant new favorite - Autumn - are great for artists of all ability levels and make the perfect gift.
Good afternoon! Fall is slowly creeping into the shop, and while summer is still alive and well, the warm fall tones and textures are a welcome change. We still have more linens and fall objects to arrive, but there’s plenty to warrant a trip in to say hello.
Everything you need to slow down your cleaning and make it more of an enjoyable & beautiful experience. Seek the simplicity, find joy in the stillness.
Since I was young, I’ve always been drawn to the sea - and the great ships that once sailed them - as if they were something as familiar as my own backyard. What does it mean to long for something you have never known? To feel a warmth & affection to a life not lived.
I’ve been on a journaling journey for some time now, yet most days I struggle to find a meaningful path. What holds enough value to put down in words on paper? What’s the goal of my writing? What am I searching for? With an ever unquenched thirst for knowledge, perhaps journaling in some small way connects me to my ancestors and their quest for meaning and discovery.
Each new antique seascape I find stokes this fire within me, so what better place to caretake this new discovery than above my writing desk. She’ll have a good home here until her story lives on with future generations.
