2022 has been a wild ride at the farm. Four baby cows born this year, maple syrup season, a few new laying hens, meat birds, garden growing and preserving season. The loss of the family dog, new puppy and new human baby all in a week. The biggest loss was the death of both my grandparents; who we purchased the farm from in 2017. Excited to see what 2023 has in season for us.

My father in law took these awesome pictures of the farm with his drone. I love looking at old farm photos and the farm over the years. Never can have too my photos!

Pastured raised chickens ๐Ÿ” Raising our meat birds a little different this year. Last year we moved our chicken tractor twice a day, well this year I had to order a minimum of 25 because we wanted to butcher in the fall so a portable fence and the tractor to sleep in at night. So far itโ€™s working great!
