🔍The house hunting process took lots of twists and turns — we toured all sorts of houses in all sorts of conditions. At the end of the day, he understood the value of location, location, location! 📍

The weather may still feel pretty warm, but don’t let it stop you from taking care of your fall home maintainance. Here are my top 3 projects to get ready for the cooler days ahead:

🍂 Gutters & Roof: Fall means falling leaves, and they love to gather in gutters. Ensure they're clear to avoid ice dams. While you're up there, give that roof a quick glance for damaged or missing shingles. An inexpensive repair now can save thousands in replacement costs later.

🔥 Heating Check: Before the real cold sets in, make sure your furnace is in tip-top shape and that fireplace chimney is clean. Ensuring your heating systems are efficient not only promises warm winter nights but also safety for your family.

🪟 Seal & Insulate: Have a drafty window? Now's the time to seal those gaps. Also — don't forget about the attic! It's a prime spot for heat loss. A bit more insulation there can translate to cozier rooms and happier energy bills.

We closed a little over a month ago and I have been a busy bee working on small projects to get it ready for renters. Excited to continue this journey.

The apple pie in a bag is a MUST! This weekend they have many varieties available to pick, including (but not limited to) Honey Crisp, Granny Smith, Gala, and Golden Delicious.

🍎 Barthel Fruit Farm, Mequon 🍎
My go-to for the past few years — low key with a beer garden, food truck, and great bakery options. Currently picking Ginger Gold, Gala, Honey Crisp varieties — also, Stark Pears!
