June Vaughn, an incredible artist and friend made these beautiful pieces using my Paint-Your-Own-Ceramics kit for pendants and ornaments.
June, these are amazing! Thank you so much! I hope they inspire others so they will get creative too!
I have spent the last few months developing a Paint-Your-Own-Ceramic kit for consumer release. The Pendant fine art kits include: a handmade ceramic pendant, each pendant has a metal loop to attach the adjustable 24" black satin cord. The interior packaging unfolds into an instruction booklet. The booklet provides a list of common materials or household supplies to create with, examples of the possibilities in the Inspiration and Ideas section along with links to my Facebook and Instagram for more examples of what others have created. I will be posting videos too. The videos are still a work in progress and will give step by step instructions using common everyday materials. No need to purchase expensive art supplies you don't know how to use. And, if you don't like what you have made, scrub it off, erase it, paint over it whatever and ready for a new idea.
Today we are celebrating James McNeill , who was in 1834.
This painting, exhibited in London in 1892, was one of several seascapes Whistler painted more than twenty-five years prior, during a visit to Valparaíso, Chile. The influence of Japanese prints is apparent in the high horizon line, the decorative arrangement of bamboo stalks, and the butterfly monogram at the bottom right, which was of the artist's own design.

Looking for video camera recomendations or video options to film myself painting. Can you film yourself painting w a go pro? Some of my miniatures and smaller work just isn't filming well because I block the camera with my hands as they paint. Would love some ideas. Thanks a bunch.
Sydney , a portrait commision I just completed. I met the owner of Sydney by chance when volunteering on a fundraiser for the WI humane society. Sydney's rescue journey from a research animal to a family dog was very inspiring. Sydney is adopted from House of hope rescue in Libertyville, IL. I am honored when I hear how people have always wanted a portrait and are so happy to finally have one from me. The owner comissioned her portrait after wanting one for a long time. I think it turned out lovely.
As with every commission for a rescued family pet, I will donate a portion back to the rescue.
What I'm working on today. Experimental palette ..."Now without Cadmium!" Lol
What if you could get a painting of your favorite vacation spot?
There is a point where I think "Yea its done." And then I do a little more, and stand back to see if I missed anything. If nothing jumps out as a flaw or missing piece I wait a few hours before looking at it again. So yea I think its done. Lol.

I draw because I couldn’t sing well enough to be Barbara Mandrel of the Mandrel sisters.
I started out drawing hearts. The challenge was to create a perfectly symmetrical heart. I drew hearts for an entire year as a kid. Then tested how good they were by folding them and seeing where they were off. Then I moved on to circles.
I challenged other kids to drawing contests. Not a popular game, usually played it by myself.
