Our wonderful partners at StoneRidge Piggly Wiggly - Wautoma, StoneRidge Piggly Wiggly - Kaukauna, StoneRidge Piggly Wiggly - Winneconne, StoneRidge Piggly Wiggly - Little Chute and De Pere hosted their annual Round Up for Wishes campaign this past May-June, raising $59,701 in critical funds. With help from our communities, the incredible team at StoneRidge Piggly Wiggly stores have helped make hundreds of life-affirming wishes come true for local kids facing heartbreaking critical illnesses over the past 25 years. We are deeply grateful to have StoneRidge Piggly Wiggly stores be an important part of our Make-A-Wish family serving our precious wish kids, their families, and our communities!

Last week, Lakeshore Chinooks Baseball and Hupy and Abraham,S.C. hosted Make-A-Wish Day out at Kapco Park, treating wish kids and their families to an awesome baseball experience. Wish kids participated in on-field activities throughout the game, and our friends at Hupy and Abraham presented Make-A-Wish Wisconsin with a check for $2,500. “Nicolas has always been very physical in the world, always climbing, swinging, jumping. When he was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy and went into heart failure, he was confined to the hospital for 8 months over the course of a year. He was placed on an LVAD and his mobility was severely limited. After he got his new heart, he appreciated so much more his ability to move freely. These playsets allow him to enjoy that freedom to climb, swing and jump in his own backyard. He's also able to spend time with his brother and his friends, who enjoy playing with him.” - Nicolas' mom after receiving his wish to have an outdoor climbing gym.
