Heading to the pool or beach? Here's why you should always swim near a lifeguard! πββοΈ
Lifeguards are critically important for your safety. They are highly trained and skilled professionals who specialize in water rescue, CPR, and first aid.
In an emergency, every second counts, and lifeguards are equipped to provide immediate assistance, potentially saving lives and preventing serious injuries.
By swimming near a lifeguard, you ensure that expert help is readily available if needed. Whether it's a strong current at the beach or an accident at the pool, lifeguards are your first line of defense.
Stay safe and enjoy the water with confidence, knowing a lifeguard is on duty!
Franki has worked for Milwaukee County Parks since she was 16 years old! She is now our full time Aquatics Supervisor.
Thanks for all your hard work and leadership, Franki! You rock!
