Katie and Rachel's excursion has reached 2000 miles, totaling 45 hours of travel thus far. We are due to arrive in Syracuse, NY for a single night's stay. Our journey will continue on Saturday as we make our way to Milwaukee. We will return to work by Tuesday. We hope that you are enjoying your 4th of July festivities.

We made it to Niagara Falls today. On our way now to Toronto for the night. Tomorrow another long drive to Montreal!

What Is Microneedling?

Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure. It involves pricking the skin with tiny sterilized needles. The small wounds cause your body to make more collagen and elastin, which heal your skin and help you look younger. You might also hear it called collagen induction therapy.

Microneedling Benefits
Microneedling may help with issues like:
Acne
Dark spots or patches on your skin (hyperpigmentation)
Large pores
Reduced skin elasticity
Scars
Stretch marks
Sun damage
Fine lines and wrinkles
Microneedling is less expensive than laser treatments, which can cost about four times as much. Microneedling may work better for people with darker skin tones because it doesn’t involve heat the way laser treatments do, which can affect your skin’s pigmentation, or color. Ask your dermatologist what’s best for your skin -- and your budget.
Dermatologists (doctors who specialize in skin care and skin disorders) can do microneedling. Aestheticians also do it with extra certification.

The procedure usually takes 10-30 minutes, depending on how big the area is. Most people need 4-6 treatments to see a difference.

First, you’ll get a numbing cream smoothed onto your face so you can’t feel the needle pricks. Then the person doing the microneedling will move a pen-shaped with tiny needles around your face. The needles make small cuts in your skin, which can cause a bit of bleeding. Your Esthetician may spread a cream or serum on your face after that.

The goal of the procedure is to start your body’s healing process by sending collagen and elastin to patch up the tiny injuries. Collagen helps fill in and smooth out wrinkles.

Most people get microneedling on the face, but it can also done on other parts of the body, such as your stomach or thighs.

What is Nano Infusion Facial?

Nano infusion facial therapy is a treatment for specific skin conditions such as wrinkling, fine lines, pigmentation, and scarring. Unlike microneedling, nano infusion therapy is non-invasive. It does not wound the skin nor draw blood.

Nano infusion facial therapy offers instant and long-lasting results. The treatment stimulates blood circulation on the area, hydrates the skin, softens lines, reduces scarring, and brightens up the skin.

With a nano infusion facial therapy, the skin can better absorb skincare products by 97%. It greatly enhances the skin’s capability for nutrient absorption.

How Does it Work?

Instead of using needles, like microneedling, nano infusion facial therapy uses a nano infusion pen with 36 pyramid pins on a 16 mm nanochip. The pins are microscopic – they are thinner than a single strand of human hair.

The cosmetician uses this pen to press the pyramid pins on the skin gently. The pins are covered with a topical product. The process creates thousands of micro pathways per minute in the top layer of the skin.

The micro pathways allow more nutrients to pass through the layer of dead epidermal cells on top of the skin to the lower layers of the skin. Better nutrient absorption means better-looking, nourished, and radiant skin. Within 15 minutes, the nanochannels close.

Last night Mary had emergency surgery from a hernia. She will be out of work for possibly 2-6 weeks. Rachel and Katie will keep Mary’s clients updated and those currently on the schedule will be contacted in order of date booked.
We ask for patience and most importantly lots of prayers for Mary during this healing time.

When a client of ours passes away, we also lose a friend, family, someone we deeply care about. We hear about your family, the good, the bad and all the fun. The vacations you are excited to go on. Who’s having a baby and so much more.
Our hearts are sad tonight after hearing of a very long time client. She was too young. Years go by and we still think of those who have gone. We don’t forget them because they have continued in our hearts. Our thoughts and prayers are with every family we have lost.
