‼️ Help Needed‼️ - Many of you know we have the privilege of supporting a home for children without placement. This year we are both saddened and grateful that we have had the opportunity to support 37 beautiful children with emergency placements. The home is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. All of the children we serve are in the custody of the Texas Child Welfare. Abuse and neglect are far too common. This is an invitation into the sufferings of vulnerable children and families.

-Our goal is to provide a safe place for children to call home. Every child deserves to be loved.

It's Fall and we're looking for a few people who would love to decorate the porch at Harvest House! The kids and their case workers would absolutely love it!
If decorating is your thing and you can donate a couple of pumpkins, some fall foliage, and a basket or two, here's your opportunity to have some creative control!
We would love to have the porch decorated by Friday, October 21st. Contact me for more information or feel free to comment on the post.

In every community there are hurting children and families! The good news is that in every community there are people who care enough to do something about it! Over the past 16 months The Harvest House Waxahacie has served 28 children that would have otherwise had no place to go.

Special Thanks to those who support this page! Your prayers and support are making the world of a difference to our kids!!

These hands have wiped away too many tears in the past 3 months since this dear daughter of God entered the foster care system as a “child without placement.” Hospitalized twice, moved 4 times, and still somehow she beamed with beauty, strength, and even forgiveness on the day we met her. I kept thinking, “this baby girl is only 13.” After a short stay in the Harvest House where she could breathe and rest, she was placed in a foster home. Would you take some time today to pray for this sweet girl? Would you pray for her healing and that she would know the eternal love of Christ? Would you pray for the girls at the Harvest House today, those who have already come and gone, and those who might come in the days ahead?

We are a month in to serving CWOP and DFPS staff at our beloved Harvest House. We are listening, learning, and praying for more opportunities to love “our” girls well. We are working on creating systems and volunteer sign ups for meals and outings so more can participate in the ministry very soon. These amazing children of our most High King desperately need the Church to show up. Be on the look out for ways to serve and/or join our monthly giving team soon! (PS. We have a wishlist of items we need for the house so if you’re interest in helping us with supplies, let us know and we’ll send you the list!)

Please pray for our 3 amazing, made in God’s image and dearly loved by Him, CWOP staying in the Harvest House now. Please pray that as they lay their heads in a safe, warm bed tonight, that they would somehow feel the very warmth of our good God. Please pray for opportunities to build lasting relationships with them beyond their stay in the house and for them to hear and believe the Gospel message that Jesus is our rescuing Savior. Our hearts are so full tonight knowing this little house is everything it was dreamed to be. All glory be to Christ for He IS our good King.
