What if we told you your Tox could last longer? 👀🤯👏🏻 This is a repost of a series we did last summer!

Points to understand before we jump in!

✨The body requires specific vitamins and minerals to complete metabolic functions.

✨ Zinc is an essential nutrient (meaning the body can NOT make it on its own) and requires addition through daily nutrition or supplements.

✨Zinc is a required cofactor (specific key that fits into a lock inside the cells) for more than 300 essential enzymes needed for proper cellular functioning.

✨Zinc plays a role inside muscle cells that is not completely understood.

✨Tox works on acetylcholine at the neuromuscular junction inside the muscle cell.

📚 A study in 2012 researched the effects of Zinc on Tox duration. Although not a perfect study, they DID find a possible link between adding Zinc and longer lasting muscle relaxation from neuromodulators (Tox).

👉🏻 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝟵𝟬%) 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘁𝗼𝘅 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 (𝟯𝟬%) 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗱𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗭𝗶𝗻𝗰 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻! 👈🏻

Zinc is also useful as an immune booster when used daily. If you are interested in adding supplements to your daily routine, ask your health care provider! 💊

🤓 As a doctorally prepared advanced practice nurse I would be doing you a disservice if I didn’t comment on the strength of this study. The sample size was small, making it difficult to definitively apply to the general public. That being said, tox duration is somewhat subjective (personal opinion) already and if the client thinks it’s working longer, it probably is!
