Do you have exciting news to share? We will frame your newspapers! We actually get a high definition scan of your paper in question and frame that since newspaper decomposes lightning fast. This way, your news will last far longer than framing the newspaper itself!

This client is so amazing and finished the Boston Marathon! So we went with the official colors with a yellow mat and a blue confetti Larson-Juhl frame! Looks great and will last for decades. 💙💛

Megan's Custom Framing will be closed July 9th - July 15 for family vacation! I will be finishing up outstanding projects this week, so expect a call soon! It will be bittersweet to be closed down for a week, but I'm thankful to get some needed family time. We'll be open this week with normal hours aside from being closed for Independence day leading up till our closure.

This flag was flown over Camp David, so it needed a great design to keep it protected behind glass. Built up and supported from behind, it looks great with an artique light blue inner mat topped with a bainbridge suede mat tucked in a Larson Juhl dark walnut shadowbox frame.

And why would you not want to become a sunflower when it looks this good! Absolutely in LOVE with how this sunflower watercolor piece turned out! I floated it over a cream Crescent Brands mat tucked in within an East Side frame. I had to do a mini shadowbox effect creating some depth so the art doesn't touch the glass. The colors look so lovely together making the subject literally pop out at you!

💫Finally got around to framing my first dollar from the shop!

I've been getting hit wit a lot of creative framing ideas. It's so funny how this would happen with drawing and painting and now it's framing! Creativity is like air, it's always flowing around us, through us and transforming through us. That also kinda sounds like the Force. 💫 So similar! But I just wanted to share that my creative MOJO is back! 🎨💫

But I've been loving building up shadowboxes! This is a mini one in a frame I found lying around the shop, so that's why the dimensions are kinda wonky. This was more of an experiment, but I'm still happy with it! I had to go with floating the bill on a green suede mat. 💚💫

Another stunner in this series. This one was probably my favorite since it's so romantic. 😍😍 So in love with these deep and artique mats to bring your eye to the scene at play. This client loves to have them framed in our since the lite walnut goes with everything. Gorgeous!

Home sweet home.

This silk tapestry was a wedding gift for a sweet couple sixty years ago! It was still in great condition, and I loved that it had writing on the side! That writing is the address of her birthplace. It was truly an honor to frame something so special for this couple!

It's looking classically refined in a brooklyn black frame with artique & crescent mats. A small splash of red as a nod to chinese culture, wishing good fortune for years to come. Topped with truevue conservation clear glass to protect it from uv exposure.

Who is that kitty in the window?

Another amazing Seth Holmes piece came in the shop recently. Love the attention to detail including the little kitty in the window! We went with lots of grays and silver tones to make the greens and blues POP!

I had such a great time at yesterday! They hosted an amazing workshop that was filled with so many nuggets of wisdom. We got to see where the moulding comes from and meet some amazing and inspiring people! Can't wait for the next one!

Today's post is a bit different than others since today is my birthday! 🎂🥳💫 Buckle up, I'm gonna get mushy.🥰

The best gift I could ever receive is being able to run this frame shop in my town! I've always dreamt of having my own business so being able to do this feels so serendipitous. I'm so grateful for this opportunity to grow my gifts! Thank you everyone that has supported me so far, it means the world to me! Hopefully my gift next year will be to you, Waynesboro, working at the shop full time!

Loved doing this old railroad map of this area! Wouldn't that be something to hop on a train to Baltimore from our Waynesboro?? So cool to preserve these items and see the history behind what we see everyday.
