Abby gave birth to little Miller in the rain on May 4th. Two wet heads that day.
Pete from Everhart Boers was back in November to sire 8 new additions to the farm this spring. 4 sets of twins, all born in April. These handsome fellows will be ready to go in a few weeks!
In 2023 the handsome billy, Pete, from Everhart Boers came to visit the ladies of Hidden Pond Farm. The result was 8 healthy babies, 4 boys, 4 girls.
Brownie gave birth to the first baby goat born on the farm, Josie, who just turned 2.

Belle and Ginger are both cashmere goats. Belle is super friendly and a bit mischievous.....

Nanny goat is not alone on the farm. She has many friends. Brownie was our first Boer goat purchased from Everhart Boers. She is an amazing mother and a beautiful goat. Everhart Boers introduced us to and taught us many things about these goats of which we now have 20!
We just got Alice this year
Ollie was the first donkey born on the farm. His parents are Coal and Abby. He turned 1 on March 30
Daisy came from our farrier.
A couple months after Ellie we took her half sister Sadie
We got Ellie from the same farm in Tyro as a very young girl. She is Gracie's younger sister.
Betsy is an old old girl we took on as a rescue. She was a good "surrogate mother" to the young girls we got next
Then we got Gracie from a farm in Tyro as soon as she was weaned
Along with Abby came old Nanny goat
Next came Abby from a farm down the road from us.
Meet all the animals currently residing at the farm. This is Coal. Got him as a youngster and he's been here the longest.
