Congdon's will be reopening inside seating soon! We know you've been waiting a long time and we appreciate your patience, but the time has finally come! While we don't have a solid date, we will allow guests to order at the counter and sit in the dining room in the coming weeks.

Outside of the obvious facelift, you will notice one rather significant change -- we will no longer be providing table service or a separate menu for the dining room. Instead, guests will place their order at the front counter and find their own seat in the dining room and patio (or one of the many picnic tables outside).

Our quick service menu includes a number of the same favorites you enjoyed in our dining room before, including Honey Dip french toast, homemade corned beef hash, and breakfast burritos/sandwiches, along with our new breakfast bowls.

We know many of you were looking forward to the normal dining experience, and we're sorry to disappoint. This decision didn't come without a lot of scrutiny and painstaking debate. Even before COVID, one of the major issues for restaurants throughout the Seacoast region was finding enough staff to service the thousands that flock to our area every day during the season. The pandemic only exacerbated this and we strongly believe this is a necessary change at this time.

As our long-time guests know, we are not ones to sit back and watch the world go by. We have adapted and evolved many times over our 67 years and this current situation could very well change again. But for now, we are just excited to invite you inside and to see your smiling faces again. We appreciate your patience as we adapt to this new service model and will announce an “opening day” soon.

IT'S ALL OVER! The greatest upset in the history of all Championship Bowls has happened -- Chocolate Raised defeated 4X Champ Honey Dip in Dough Bowl V with 50.3% of the 1,600 votes cast! All hail to the King! 🏆

Thank you to everyone who participated in this historical Dough Bowl V Tournament! The three voters who were randomly selected to win a free baker's dozen are Heather Sanborn, Barbara Droll, and Kerry Martin.

Word is Honey Dip is not taking the news well and is mounting a comeback to regain its crown. Til next year...
