It was no sleeper of a morning , Tikka enjoying the Sept sun on a cool morn.
This sized fish good part of the morning.
46.5” fish of the morning and 1 for dinner.

We are back from our annual Bear hunt up North.
Sept schedule is wide open and some of the best fishing of the year.

July 14th 2022 Chase caught his personal best at that time. He decided to mount it.

Sept 17th 2022 I caught my personal best still til this day and my first 50” striped bass.

Both were mounted by Advanced Taxidermy .

Both are crated and on the way to Maine.

I ended my July wrap up with this statement;

“It’s 1 Aug and mate Chase Trudeau wanted to spend his birthday with another night run.”

August 2024 was quite simply our best month ever!!!
No I know it’s not over, however the last week of August we will be in the mountains chasing Black Bears.

As I sit lakeside and think back of the last 25 days, it was quite remarkable the amount of big fish that were brought over the side of the boat.

Utilizing Live Eels at night showed to be very effective boating big bass.

The night bite simply put is the best if you’re up for the challenge!

Bait was off and on in the mornings, however one afternoon I’ve never seen some much on the surface.

Mate Chase “ Chiefy” boated his personal best a 50” striper that he’ll never forget.

Through the photo collection, you’ll see many personal best, some first, and the best of all many many smiles.

July 2024

July started off with big fish , and theme continued however mid month and some scattered days throughout the month mornings were slow.

Most of the groups we took in July went home with keepah size fish for dinner.

The full moon around the 19th we made a night run and it was quite possibly the best bite we ever saw with live Eels. We lost count of the 40” + fish we caught , most were in the 45”-48” range.

The last 10 days of the month showed bigger schools grouping up and being early on em yielded the best results.

It’s 1 Aug and mate Chase Trudeau wanted to spend his birthday with another night run.
