We will be back in the gym August 12th.

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer.

Welp I did it, I went from Couch to Half Marathon, 6 miles in and my legs had given up on me they both where cramping from my ankle to my knees. Lord I was in pain, half crying half laughing off the pain as my sister stuck with me and helped me finish. I kept telling her( Griselda Walden )just leave me here lol. But I knew that if I quit half way I would be absolutely disappointed.
Lessons learned: my boxing career and coach taught me to never quit, I have developed a never quit mind set. Fight till the end.
#2: don't expect things to be easy if you don't prepare for them. You have to train
#3: don't be discouraged if you don't have the best time, you finished, you pushed you got it done!! One painful step at a time

Let's cheer on these two gentlemen, they have been putting in the work and are headed to Colorado to give some boxers WAR!!

Couldn't be more proud of their work ethic and the love they have for this sport.

Update:
I wanted to keep you all informed.
Monday I went in for a scheduled procedure and it unfortunately did not go as planned,it ended with me in the emergency room and being admitted for the last 4 days, I was discharged and I am on the mend, thanks be to God.

I am extremely greatful for the help I received from my volunteers Rosie and Eddy and my sister Griselda and my husbad, who where able to help with the classes and a huge thank you to my lights out members for the continued support.

I will be back at it on Monday, I may not be as active but I appreciate everyone of you and look forward to being back to Boxing.
