Happy New Year! Today is the start of the Chinese New Year, the year or the Wood Dragon! To celebrate, we have the 2024 year of the dragon bag! Filled with Chinese tea classics, including Dragon Well, Dragon Pearls, and Lapsang Souchong, a pine wood smoked black tea. Other goodies include a dragon plushy, stickers and more! And just for a little extra fun, one of the 12 bags has an additional $5 gift card hidden inside!

When it comes to describing any culture, anything that is true is also not true. Same with tea culture! I believe that there are no hard and fast rules when it comes to tea. Brew it as you enjoy it! It has been a while and I wanted to let you know that you can now find my tea at Simply Unique.

If you are anything like me, you may be getting excited about the changing season, looking forward to longer days and sunny weather.

To celebrate, I'm having an end of season special clearance sale on Art of Tea's herbal blend, Apple Pie! Normally $20 a tin, I'm taking 50% off, so you can now get it for $10. Stop by and see me my booth at Simply Unique (201 S. Wenatchee Avenue) tomorrow for a free taste.

This is a special blend that is only available in winter, so it's a good time to stock up. While this blend is meant to conjure feelings of holiday meals, I think it is a great treat for any time of year, but I am especially looking forward to sipping it by the campfire, at the beginning of the season when the nights are chilly and the sky is clear and full of stars. This tea is delicious when sweetened with honey (I use honey from T's Bees, here in Wenatchee) and if you are feeling extra fancy, make it a real night-cap with a splash of brandy.
