After decades of exposure saltwater and waves, concrete tends to look like this. Concrete itself is somewhat resliant to saltwater however, once the water works its way through cracks, it rusts the rebar below which eventually cracks the entire assembly apart.

The Burien Residence is moving along! This one should be set for construction later this year.

The South Shore Residence. This is an addition to an existing Lake Chelan cabin built in the 60's. With a very limited footprint, including lake setbacks, steep hillside and other eastments, we had to explore creative ways to place this modern addition. Construction starting soon!


 

A project near 25 Mile Creek in Chelan. This project utilizes a cantilevered bedroom wing to project further beyond the slope while maintaining a stable foundation.












 



 



 

More from the Monitor Residence. The is a V-shaped cabin with a small courtyard in the middle.

Roof beams are set at Burch Mountain .To achieve the 5'+ roof overhangs, we are using exposed glulam beams. These long overhangs will provide excellent sun protection in the upcoming hot summer months.
