Playing an eclectic mix of music from the 60s and 70s, the Sage Hill Trio blends 3-part vocal harmonies with guitars, banjo, and percussion. Originally getting together to play music during the pandemic for fun, we have continued to hone our style. We are hopeful you will recognize these classic songs and enjoy the music with us.

We are excited to announce our May Artist! LESLIE MYERS! First Friday Art Reception: THIS FRIDAY! May 3, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm.

"The beauty and diversity of the natural world is the inspiration for my acrylic paintings. Using expressive colors and rich details, I create paintings designed to give the viewer an experience both up close and at a distance. As a graduate of Central Washington University, I began my art career with Alaska Silver and Ivory as a scrimshaw artist. Then, finding it more fun to work larger, I moved from ivory to colored pencil and then to acrylic paint. I love to share with the viewer a new way to see everyday scenes and details that would be ordinarily passed by".

Each member of Feather River brings a distinctive style to the table ranging from blue grass and swing to acid rock and blues. The styles blend in wonderful and sometimes unexpected ways to deliver listenable and energetic music. Feather River music takes on a life of its own and becomes greater than the sum of its parts, once the band starts grooving. Collectively, Feather River represents a century and one half of gigging, song writing, and sound engineering experience.

A spring community favorite, our Dahlia 101 class is sure to help inspire you as you start to plan your summer garden.

This class is free to the public and DOES NOT require sign-up for participation.

Please come and learn from the best dahlia gardeners around, the North Central Washington Dahlia Society!

CLASS DESCRIPTION:
This class will provide a hands-on demonstration of how to plant and care for your dahlias. We’ll talk about how to get your dahlia garden started. We will discuss soil preparation, how to plant and how to choose the best spot for your garden. We will learn about the different forms and varieties of dahlias, how to interpret dahlia terminology, and where to find out more as the season progresses. Tools, accessories, soil preparation, staking, labeling and tending will be discussed. Bring your questions and ideas. Everyone in attendance will receive a coupon for a free tuber. Taught by members of the North Central Washington Dahlia Society.

Darnell Scott is a one of a kind musician and a man who is making his mark in the world of Blues, R&B, and Soul. As a youngster, he enjoyed the music of such artists as Al Green, Curtis Mayfield and Marvin Gaye, just to name a few. Even though Scott has never had any formal training to play the guitar or sing, he is a natural and a force to be reckoned with. Rooted deep in soul, his music is exciting and fresh. You will notice it all comes together and is evident in the way the music speaks to you. His command and style is unique and captivating. He delivers a song with mesmerizing originality. Enhancing the talent of Scott are musicians chosen for their professional command of their instruments. Their presence and knowledge of dynamics is evident in the way they captivate the spirit of the music.

Dos Dudes is an acoustic duo channeling some of your favorite classic rock tunes as well as original material. Bob and Rob have been friends and musical partners for over 30 years. They have formed several bands over the years but still really enjoy the freedom of expression possible with an acoustic duo.

Class Info: Join us in reusing paper materials to create your very own floral bouquet that will last forever. Local crafter, Mary Henson of Mary Charlee Designs, will be guiding participants through the process of cutting and putting together paper roses to create a beautiful bouquet to gift a loved one or keep for your home decor. We will be using a template and while we may not have time to complete a full dozen rose bouquet, you will walk away with all you need to finish a beautiful piece. Materials you can use include various colored papers (scrapbook paper is great just make sure it is not a heavy cardstock), old book pages, packaging paper, paper bags, old magazines, wrapping paper, or other regular paper weight items. Feel free to bring your own paper material for the roses, scissors and a hot glue gun if you would like to use your own. Mike Bills has been playing and perfecting his musical style since he was 18 years old. He plays an array of genres from an eclectic blend of pop, rock, blues, classic country and American classics! Mike is a true "jack of all trades" playing guitar and singing all while playing percussion with his feet.
