Triumph Tuesday: Celebrating the Cacho Family!

Today, we are thrilled to celebrate a very special achievement for an incredible aunt and niece duo, Eva Cacho and Gloria Cacho. Having lived and raised their families in Peshastin, Washington, for more than 20 years, both Eva and Gloria have always been close, sharing their lives and supporting each other through lives journey.

This week, we are proud to congratulate them on becoming U.S. citizens! 🎉🇺🇸

This milestone is especially meaningful as it brings back memories from over ten years ago when both of their husbands became citizens through Hand in Hand Immigration Services, with a beautiful Oath Ceremony at Holden Village. Today, the Cacho family's journey comes full circle, with many other family memeber recently becoming citizens through Hand in Hand as well, we couldn't be more excited for them.

Hoy, estamos felices en celebrar un logro muy especial para una increíble tía y sobrina, Eva Cacho y Gloria Cacho. Habiendo vivido y criado a sus familias en Peshastin, Washington, durante más de 20 años, tanto Eva como Gloria siempre han estado cerca, compartiendo sus vidas y apoyándose mutuamente en su camino.

¡Esta semana, estamos orgullosos de felicitarlas por convertirse en ciudadanas estadounidenses! 🎉🇺🇸

Este gran logro trae recuerdos de hace más de diez años, cuando ambos esposos de ellas se convirtieron en ciudadanos a través de Hand in Hand Immigration Services, con una hermosa ceremonia de ciudadanía en Holden Village. Hoy, el viaje de la familia Cacho se completa, con varios otros familiares que recientemente recibieron su ciudadanía con Hand in Hand, no podríamos estar más emocionados por la familia.

Triumph Tuesday: Celebrating Orlando Alvorado and Verna Winsor

We are thrilled to celebrate the incredible achievement of Orlando Alvorado, who recently became a U.S. citizen! Orlando’s journey has been one of dedication and perseverance, and we couldn’t be prouder of him. After passing his citizenship interview, the first person he called to share the news and express his heartfelt thanks was Verna Winsor, our beloved in-office tutor.

Verna, at 84 years young, has been a cornerstone of our program. She volunteers her time and energy to help our students achieve their dreams, and her impact is immeasurable. Here are a few words from Verna to Orlando:

“Open letter to Orlando Alvorado, one of my students,

You are a well-mannered and sensitive man. A dedicated and diligent person, waiting for that all-important letter with your appointment date to come! It was certainly an honor and pleasure to work with you. I am happy I was able to meet you.

As it is with MANY of my other students. I think I see them as my kids. They are all so appreciative and always show their appreciation when they come and leave in the way of a hug. I feel I can do this because I am ‘old’ (ha).

Verna, you are so much more than a tutor to us. You are a mentor, a friend, and a cherished member of our community. Your dedication and love for your students is beyond words, and we want you to know how deeply you are appreciated. Thank you for being a pillar of strength and support for everyone in our program. We love and appreciate you more than we can express.

Today, Triumph Tuesday we are proud to inform you that on Saturday our Legal Office team assisted WNA (Wa new Americans.) with Citizenship Day in Yakima, WA

Hoy Martes de Triunfo estamos orgullosos de informarle que el Sábado nuestra oficina legal asistio a WNA (Wa Nuevos Americanos.) con el dia de La Ciudadanía en Yakima.

Citizenship Day is a Free, one day workshop where volunteer immigration attorneys, paralegals, and volunteers provide assistance with Citizenship applications.

Today’s Tuesday Triumph is to celebrate and congratulate seven new US citizens that trusted our staff to complete this life changing event. Thank you for their confidence and their effort to achieve this goal and make their dream come true. While our staff is doing this for years, it is amazing to see how emotional we get when a new naturalization certificate is received.

Este Martes de Triunfo celebramos y felicitamos a siete nuevos ciudadanos americanos quienes confiaron en nuestro equipo para alcanzar este meta que irá a cambiar sus vidas. Gracias por su confianza y esfuerzo para hacer sus sueños realidad.
