Good evening, with this cold weather I know there are a lot of families with no heat, or insulation in their homes. If you need a place to bring in your little ones from the cold, please let me know. You can stay in the salon. Or if you need to bathe or bathe your kids, I have two showers. I know how a lot of peoples homes here are not equipped this kind of weather and I know what it’s like. I grew up the same way so I understand, please don’t hesitate to reach out especially if you have babies. To everyone on here with family members and friends that know they are going through this, reach out to them. Please continue to arrive at our Harlingen location to save our animals. Right now there are 30+ dogs that need you. This number can easily go up as animal arrive. We need YOU right now to be the life saver for our animals.

Our new location cannot accommodate many animals. At this time, the safest outcome is to have all of our animals go into adoptive and foster homes before our transition into a new building. RGVHS does not want to leave any dogs or cats behind, as the safety and live outcome of the animals is not guaranteed once the City of Harlingen takes over the Markowsky location.

This holiday season has been one of the craziest by far. After working some days with no lunch break, working late and at times going in earlier to get ahead. We got nearly 200 clients done in 16 business days. With that being said, We EARNED this vacation. Thank you everyone that came in and set up their appointments with time. To those that we didnt get to, there is only so much Andrew I can do. None of this would have been possible without Andrew’s help. Let this be a lesson to those people that waited till the last minute, please set up your appointments with time. Especially for the holiday season, these days get booked nearly a year in advance. We will be closed from December 23rd till the January 1st. We’ll be back to regular hours on the 2nd. If you have any question, please call the salon and leave a message, or send a text.
