I get it--when you have bad IEP meetings, you dread going to the school for ANYTHING. That includes parent teacher conferences. But, prepare yourself with questions to ask, to take away some of the dread. And, you won't forget anything. Free PDF: https://www.rfr.bz/fno0ibw

🤔 Wondering if your child qualifies for SEPAC support? Let’s break it down!
🌟 Is your student receiving an Individualized Education Program (IEP)? Students with an IEP are receiving specialized instruction and services tailored to their unique needs. The IEP outlines specific goals, accommodations, and modifications.
🌟 Or does your child have a Section 504 Plan? This plan provides accommodations for students with disabilities who do not require special education but need support to access the general education curriculum.
🌟 What about specialized services? These can include speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, behavioral interventions, or other specialized support services.
🌟 Students diagnosed with conditions such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, or other learning or developmental disabilities may be eligible for special education services.
🍏🍎 SEPACs are there to advocate for and support these students and their families, ensuring they receive the appropriate resources and accommodations. If your child is receiving any of these services, participating in SEPAC can help you stay informed, share experiences, and contribute to improving special education services in your school community.
Together, we can make a difference! Learn more and get involved today.

🍎🚌 Welcome back for the 2024/25 school year! Attached is the September update provided in the school newsletters.
We had a great turnout at the MSHS curriculum night on Thursday. We enjoyed meeting parents and collecting email addresses so that we can keep you posted about our monthly meetings and events. We encourage parents to attend our monthly meetings (see schedule below), we value your input and want to provide the workshops and speakers that you are interested in. If you are unable to make the meetings, then please send us an email, with your suggestions, to [email protected]. See you at the Howard School's curriculum night this week, Thursday 9/12, 5-6:30pm.
🤩 Thank you to all who submitted nominations! We wish we were able to give grants all of the nominees for the AMAZING work they do.
This looks like an amazing group of people who are creating a positive atmosphere where everyone, regardless of ability, can experience the joy of movement and build confidence.
