We are remembering and honoring our service members who have fought for our country. A huge thanks to all past and present service members for their service to our country!

I wanted to share this email sent from one of our clients. We the staff and clients of Lou’s and Peter’s are very privileged to have this young man working with us. Congratulations Gavin we are so proud of you!

Gavin I couldn’t help but notice the great story on the front page of the Daily Local about your Christmas fundraising activities for the SPCA. What a great thing you are doing, working so hard to help that wonderful organization and, I’m sure, bringing a lot of joy to those who see the elaborate Christmas display at your home.

I could tell you were industrious from how you approached things at Lou’s, I just didn’t realize how extensive that initiative went. Your family raised you right and must be very proud of you. Though I think you already have a great advantage over your peers, if you decide to go to college I’m sure you’ll do well and be positioned to realize your potential. More than half of reaching potential is initiative, you clearly already have it. That coupled with a heart to give selflessly of yourself to charities makes you the kind of person who can truly lead others by example. Though being a good person, helping others and being industrious isn’t always what gets noticed by the press these days, those impacted by your actions will always remember the guy who went above and beyond to them when they needed it. The fact that it was publicly recognized is a wonderful bonus.

Congratulations and best of luck in what I’m sure will be a bright future. Hope to see you next time I’m in for a haircut.
