A couple pics from Hannah and Nikil’s special weekend! They had a Hindu ceremony and reception on Friday, followed by an American ceremony and reception on Saturday. Two full days of celebration and flowers 🤩

Hannah wanted a neutral palette for Friday since her guests would be wearing so much beautiful color and left the colorful flowers for Saturday. It was so fun to see the tent transform each day and be filled with new decor, food, and favors. So honored to get to flower for this sweet, sweet couple and be part of their wedding festivities 🤍

Oldie but goodie ☺️ Fall weddings are quickly approaching and I cannot wait to flower for my amazing brides. Still not good at posting on social media but hopefully more posts to come as I start flowering again 🤩

I’m not the best at keeping up with social media, but just thought I’d reappear for a second to say how excited I am for the weddings I have remaining in 2023! I’ve been ordering LOTS of candles, planning flower orders, and getting teams together to make it all come together.

Grateful that my days are filled with sippy cups, blocks, orders, emails, and Pinterest boards. Getting to be a florist and a SAH mama truly is such a gift!

I had been having this reoccurring vision of hosting a dinner party in my backyard that was beautiful and full of celebration. So that’s just what I did! I invited a few of my favorite people and we talked about the faithfulness of the Lord and blessed Him for what He’s done in our lives. Josh made a delicious meal, Connor picked up the rentals, Baker set the table, Laken plated the food, Katie took some pictures and it was a veryyyy special night that we will all remember for years to come. 🥹 Grateful doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel about getting to do life with, raise babies with, and follow Jesus with these people (and more). Thank you, Jesus!

I asked my friend Briana to bring her daughter, Lenny, in for this shoot to represent my Millie girl. I wanted a piece that would represent the wild, adventurous, and free life of a child - getting lost in creation and letting nature into their normal.

I can’t wait for Millie to pick a flower and bring it to me to press in a book or put in her hair. Or get distracted by a butterfly while she lays in some clovers with her toys.

I can’t wait to create beautiful pieces with Millie. For her to watch me arrange and want to join in. I hope she gets lost in the colors and shape and designs things that my hands never could.

If she isn’t interested in flowers, I hope she is inspired by something else and sees beauty in it the way I see it in flowers. I hope she never grows too cool for art. Or too busy for play.

And maybe in the waiting I’ll live in more wonder too - become a child again and see it all with fresh eyes like her.

What if we all stopped measuring ourselves in every area of our life? What if we cheered on the people beside us? What if we just did our best and were proud of that? Only you can choose that for yourself. ☺️ Sappy post because it’s just true. Happy Thursday everyone!

Unpopular Opinion (wedding edition): It’s not about how many flowers you have, but how artfully crafted they are. I always encourage my couples to spend their money on a few fancy, upscale pieces instead of a ton of small, unnoticeable pieces. Anyone else with me? 🙈

Hello new followers! Thanks for following along as I celebrate the beauty and joy of life with Jesus through flowers. I’m Kendall! If I’m not flowering, I’m probably playing with toys on the floor with my 7month old, Millie. Or baking something super sweet and full of chocolate chips. I’ll never turn down or a trip to Target, and if I wasn’t a florist, I’d probably be a birth doula. 🤠

I love the term “flowering”. Because floristry is not polka dotting colorful flowers in a vase, but rather crafting a piece from unlimited colors, design, technique, and material. It’s placing flowers stem by stem and not really knowing what it will look like until it’s done. Flowering is individual, personal, limitless, inviting, celebratory, unwinding, romanticizing, and so much more. It’s such a joy to flower for you all 🫶🏻

Baby’s breath can be really fun and creative or very traditional. It’s versatility is unmatched! I personally love when baby’s breath is used dimensionally and wild. A new trend is spray painting it bright colors to create some really unique installations and designs.

Color can be just as impactful as variety. Most people see color before they see what type of flower is used, so why not make an impact with contrasting colors, ombré, monochromatic, color blocking.. etc? Your wedding flowers don’t have to be just white and blush with a greenery collar, even though that can be beautiful too! If you want to spice it up 🌶, give me a shout!

In the past couple of months we’ve worked with at least two other mama vendors who have babies under the age of 1. We’re doing the most. Each of us had to take some time away in the day to go pump (if you don’t know what this means Google it or just continue on blissfully ha) and y’all, I know EVERY vendor (mom, dad, dog parent, aunt, grandma) is working crazy hard right now. Busy season, amiright?! 🤪

But y’all, the wedding working mama deserves a post, and here it is. This coming from the gal who has an entire photo album in her phone titled, “never met a room I wouldn’t pump in” 🐮🐄🍼

No matter what side of the table you sit on, you’ll have a beautiful arrangement to get lost in. When I’m a guest at a wedding, I always feel like the guest tables set the tone for rest of the reception. Not every table needs to have heavy florals, but don’t we just love it when they do? 🤩
