Their bites might be small, but they pack a punch. 🌲☀️

Black Flies The are naturally occurring in flowing water 💦 THINK: fountains, rivers, ponds, streams, cascades, & irrigation ditches

🦟 The mosquito life cycle has 4 stages:

Egg 🥚
Larva 🐛
Pupa 🦋
Adult 🦟

It takes about 5-7 days from egg to adult, and they need water to develop. Protect yourself by eliminating standing water around your home!

Mosquitoes Mosquitoes are responsible for more human deaths than any other animal in the world.

This month, we celebrated National Mosquito Control Awareness Week with two proclamations from the cities of City of Duarte, City Hall and City of Monrovia - Government

Our mosquito populations remain low, however, the current heat wave and higher nighttime temperatures mean that we will likely see an uptick in mosquito activity soon.
