This 2021 Toyota Corolla had a rough June. A gate hit the front end, causing not only cosmetic damage, but also frame damage.

The frame damage took us by surprise, as we weren’t expecting such a hard hit, but sure enough, the proof was there. We documented everything and submitted it to the insurance company for a supplement request. We should have a response from them some time during the week.

TOTAL LOSS‼️

Farmers Insurance declared this 2011 Nissan Cube a total loss today. This was not shocking to us at all. I predicted it would be a total when we were told it was getting towed in. 😅

Copart will be picking it up soon. It’s got body and suspension damage, however the car itself is in good shape. It just wasn’t worth repairing due to the cost of repairs and low vehicle value.

We swapped this 335i’s rocker moldings with aftermarket M3 style moldings and we added carbon fiber skirts.

The quality of these weren’t the best, but we worked with what we had. Like most aftermarket parts, fitment will never be perfect.

💥2016 HONDA PILOT💥

We fought tooth and nail with the insurance company for a new quarter and they eventually authorized it. Weeks later. 😅

This was one of those repairs that consisted mostly of replacing parts.

Three more PSPD units have been completed!

We brought three brand new Ford Explorers (Palm Springs PD Interceptors) to the shop this week and they’re ready for delivery.

For those of you that don’t know, the Palm Springs Police Department has acquired 60+ new police units and we’ve been painting the doors white on all of them. We’ve already completed quite of a few of them, but have many more incoming. Besides the Ford Explorers, they have new Dodge Durango’s coming in. Soon we’ll see those units too.

We replaced the rear bumper cover and tow cap, as well as some internal components behind the bumper. That blue came out looking like a mirror! 🪞

💥2024 CHEVY SILVERADO💥

We replaced all the damaged front end parts, such as the hood, bumper, grille, active grille, radiator support, a whole bunch of brackets and sensors.

This is a fleet truck so we delivered it back to the company ourselves.

This week started strong for us. We delivered five cars before noon and we brought three brand new police units from Palm Springs.

We also got quite a bit of work done on some of the cars we have in the shop. The car that’s made the most progress recently is the 2024 Honda CR-V that was rear ended. We can’t wait to deliver that one!

💥2022 HYUNDAI IONIQ 5💥

We repaired the front, side, and rear of this car. We also replaced the deployed airbags.

This Hyundai was with us for six months due to parts being backordered, but Puente Hills Hyundai was very helpful and hooked us up with everything we needed - and we needed a whole lot of exterior and interior parts! They even kept the car with them for three weeks to recalibrate all the sensors and airbags. While the car was with them, they even took care of all the recalls. The service was greatly appreciated by us and the owner of the car!

She’s a beauty, but she needs some TLC.

We’re gonna do quite a bit of paint work on our customers sons (new to him) 2014 Audi S7.

The cars itself is in good condition mechanically and the body is clean, however the paint has faded on some panels, especially on the left side of the car. He’s having us bring it back to its factory condition. We’ll have this beauty shining once again when we’re done with it. 😍

I’m excited about this project. Mostly because the Audi A7, S7, RS7 body, in my opinion, is one of the best looking luxury cars in the market. That sloping roofline and sportback design is flawless. 😮‍💨🤌🏼

💥2018 GMC SIERRA DENALI HD💥

All damaged parts were replaced with brand new ones from . We hit a couple bumps in the road thanks to three new radiators being defective, as well as some other delayed parts.

We also replaced the axle after all other repairs were completed. The insurance initially didn’t want to cover that issue, however after the owner explained that the axle boot wasn’t leaking prior to the accident, the insurance did end up covering the costs to replace it.

Thank you to our new customers for being so patient and friendly as their truck was with us. We highly appreciated that!

🔥TOTAL LOSS🔥

The insurance company officially declared this WCPD unit a total loss.

If you’re new here, this Interceptor suffered a mechanical/engine fire while on duty. It was towed to our shop directly from the site of the incident. Investigations have been conducted and the car has been deemed unworthy for repair.

Obviously, we weren’t surprised. 😅

It will most likely leave our shop at the end of this week.

Here are some shots of the 2015 VW GTI that was dropped off on Friday. Zoom in on that damaged A pillar. 😬

There’s a preliminary estimate on this car - written by the insurance - however, the true fate of it will be determined once we do a tear down.

The owner is claiming the transmission light came on post accident and the car is driving funky. We’ll do a pre repair scan to determine if the two are related. If so, that may end up deeming this one a total loss.

HOLY JEEP‼️

Did you see this 2024 Jeep Wrangler that was towed to us?

It’s got body, suspension, and possibly frame damage! If you scroll through, you’ll see the BROKEN wheel! The tow truck driver put the spare on the right rear, but the rotor is cracked as well, so the wheel and tire are barely hanging on.

💥2017 MAZDA 3💥

Shortly after w repaired the front/side of this Mazda, it was rear ended. This time we had to replace the rear bumper cover, taillamp assembly, and quarter panel extension (behind the left corner of the rear bumper). We also had to repair the lift gate.

Hopefully we don’t see this Mazda again anytime soon. Either way, our work is guaranteed for life.

Also, thank you to for all the new replacement parts. Insurance wanted us to used aftermarket and used parts, but they hooked us up with everything we needed. Much appreciated!

TOTAL LOSS‼️

This 2006 Nissan Pathfinder is headed to the insurance auction this week. The insurance company had initially given us authorization for repairs, mostly due to the fact that they’d written a poor estimate prior to the car being at our shop. Once we removed the damaged rear bumper cover, we saw more of the damage on the quarter panel.

I knew when the car first came in that the quarter panel would most likely have to be replaced, but once we did the tear down, I knew for certain it would. Whilst writing the supplement request, I’d made sure to note that we only use brand new quarter panels. Unfortunately for this car, the repair costs far exceeded the value of it, therefore it was declared a total loss.

I’ll post which auction will pick it up once I find out. Stay tuned!
