Thank you to the Sondheim Awards for a night that was truly MAGNIFIQUE! (Photos: Evan Zimmerman)

Four days until we hear the music of the people at the Sondheim Awards! We're so proud of our pit orchestra that has been nominated for the ACHIEVEMENT BY A STUDENT ORCHESTRA Award again this year. You may remember they won the Sondheim award last year for FROZEN! This fully student pit (21 Conard students & one 2023 Graduate) spent many months perfecting the beautifully complex score. We're fortunate to have listened to their talents each show! And we're excited to announce that one of our students will be playing in the pit orchestra at the Sondheim Awards on Saturday night: Arlo can be seen playing the French Horn in the second row and will no doubt make us proud at the Shubert Theatre! We can hardly wait one day more for Saturday! ❤️🇫🇷🥖🚩🎺 (Photo: Mike McMath)

We’re grateful to everyone who joined us in Conard’s auditorium for our story that reminds us that “even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise.”
